You can manage your email notification settings from your profile under the Notifications tab. For each type of email notification, you can choose one of the following options:
- As soon as possible: Receive the notification immediately when it is generated.
- In daily digest: You will receive a daily email each morning with all notifications set to daily digest from the previous day. If there are no notifications, no email will be sent.
- In weekly digest: Receive a weekly email every Monday morning with notifications set to weekly digest from the past week. If there are no notifications, no email will be sent.
- Disabled: No notifications of this type will be sent to you.
Receive notifications from all users
By default, you will only receive notifications from users in the same group as you if you belong to any group in the course where the notification originated. To receive notifications from all users, change the setting to "All Users". For courses without groups, notifications from all users will be received automatically.
¶ Muting courses and collection templates
If you wish to no longer receive notifications from a specific course or collection template, you can mute notifications for that context. To do this, go to the homepage, click the three dots next to the course or template you want to mute, and select Mute. This action will only affect your notifications and will not impact other users.
To unmute a course or template, go to the muted section, click the three dots, and select Unmute.
As a content developer you are able to specify if supervisors should receive notifications when students submit content for any content submitted in a collection related to the collection template. You can change this in the assessment model settings under the supervision.
