eJournal provides two types of dashboards:
- Dashboards that focus on visualizing the development of one or more students by displaying all activities and feedback in one place. This includes, but is not limited to, all collected feedback (including feedback requests), milestones, and insights into the collected evidence of the student.
- Dashboards that focus on the operational side of things, what tasks await the teaching staff to supervise their students. These are generally scoped to a specific context, such as an assignment, course, or programme.
We offer two dashboard variants that focus on the development of one or more students:
- User Dashboard: This dashboard is dedicated to tracking the progress of an individual student. This dashboard is available for two different scopes: a student’s development within a specific collection or their overall academic journey.
- Course or Programme Dashboard: Designed for educators and administrators, this dashboard provides a concise summary of multiple students' progress within a specific course or programme. It's an effective tool for obtaining a macro-level perspective on student performance, helping educators make informed decisions to enhance educational outcomes.
Functional dashboards are used to monitor the day-to-day proceedings of a specific unit of study. These dashboards are only available to teachers.
- Collection overview, this is the default view when working within an assignment context. This dashboard aims to show at a quick glance what students or groups need feedback and what other action items exist.
- Detailed assignment analytics: This dashboard provides insights into how students are progressing, as well as an overview of the work that needs to be done by the teaching staff within a specific assignment. For example, if you are curious how a mandatory activity is progressing, this is the place to look.
